Elizabethville, PA, 09.03.11 – Manugraph DGM, Inc. (MDGM) announces the sales of new equipment to three newspaper groups in Brazil, working in cooperation with their sales partner Ferrostaal.

“The Brazilian market remains very strong as evidenced by the add-on orders we have been receiving for both our USA- and India-manufactured equipment,” says Ron Ehrhardt, Vice President of International Sales for MDGM.

Diario do Amazones of Manaus, Brazil purchased two (2) MDGM 430 4-High towers that will be added to an existing Global Web press. The new MDGM 430 additions will create a 16-unit press with 32 pages of four color.  The units are slated to ship sometime in March of this year and will be installed shortly thereafter by Ferrostaal.

Existing MDGM customer Diarios do Para of Belem-Para, Brazil purchased one (1) MDGM 4-High tower to be added to their existing MDGM 430 press.  The add-on project will include a Prime UV Curing system, new drives and a drive reconfiguration. The newly configured press will have a total of twenty four (24) MDGM 430 units and three (3) UV-cured webs.  Although the customer will be taking care of installation, MDGM will assist in the start-up process of the new presses.

Brazil newspaper group Zero Hora, headquartered in Porto Alegre, Brazil purchased one (1) MDGM 1240 1:2:2 Jaw Folder to replace an existing Goss Urbanite rotary folder for their Cruz Alta location. This is the second MDGM 1240 Jaw Folder purchased by Zero Hora in the past year. The first was installed at their A Noticia location in Joinville, Brazil in 2010.  The folder will ship to Brazil in July of this year and be installed by partner Ferrostaal.

Existing Manugraph customers Editoria Boa Vista, Jornal O Debate and Correio da Bahia added new Manugraph India manufactured Cityline Express 4-High towers. One (1) 4-High tower was added to Editoria Boa Vista and Jornal O Debate, and two (2) 4-High towers were added to Correio da Bahia.
